Polybenzoxazine (PBZZ) thin films can be fabricated by the plasma‐polymerization technique with, as the energy source, plasmas of argon, oxygen, or hydrogen atoms and ions. When benzoxazine (BZZ) films are polymerized through the use of high‐energy argon atoms, electronegative oxygen atoms, or excited hydrogen atoms, the PBZZ films that form possess different properties and morphologies in their surfaces. High‐energy argon atoms provide a thermodynamic factor to initiate the ring‐opening polymerization of BZZ and result in the polymer surface having a grid‐like structure. The ring‐opening polymerization of the BZZ film that is initiated by cationic species such as oxygen atoms in plasma, is propagated around nodule structures to form the PBZZ. The excited hydrogen atom plasma initiates both polymerization and decomposition reactions simultaneously in the BZZ film and results in the formation of a porous structure on the PBZZ surface. We evaluated the surface energies of the PBZZ films polymerized by the action of these three plasmas by measuring the contact angles of diiodomethane and water droplets. The surface roughness of the films range from 0.5 to 26 nm, depending on the type of carrier gas and the plasma‐polymerization time. By estimating changes in thickness, we found that the PBZZ film synthesized by the oxygen plasma‐polymerization process undergoes the slowest rate of etching in CF4 plasma. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We report here a nonenzymatic sensor by using a nanoporous platinum electrode to detect glucose directly. The electrode was fabricated by electrochemical deposition and dissolution of PtZn alloy in zinc chloride‐1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride (ZnCl2‐EMIC) ionic liquid. Both SEM and electrochemical studies showed the evidences for the nanoporous characteristics of the as‐prepared Pt electrodes. Amperometric measurements allow observation of the electrochemical oxidation of glucose at 0.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in pH 7.4 phosphate buffer solution. The sensor also demonstrates significant reproducibility in glucose detection; the higher the roughness factor of the Pt electrode, the lower the detection limit of glucose. The interfering species such as ascorbic acid and p‐acetamidophenol can be avoided by using a Pt electrode with a high roughness factor of 151. Overall, the nanoporous Pt electrode is promising for enzymeless detection of glucose at physiological condition. 相似文献

A one‐pot method is described for the preparation of graphene quantum dots/graphene oxide (GQDs/GO) hybrid composites with emission in the visible region, through heteroatom doping and hydroxyl‐radical‐induced decomposition of GO. The NH4OH‐ and thiourea‐mediated dissociation of H2O2 produces hydroxyl radicals. Treatment of GO with hydroxyl radicals results in the production of small‐sized GO sheets and GQDs, which self‐assemble to form GQDs/GO through strong π–π interactions. For example, the reaction of GO with a mixture of NH4OH and H2O2 for 40, 120, and 270 min generates yellow‐emitting GQDs/GO (Y‐GQDs/GO), green‐emitting GQDs/GO, and blue‐emitting GQDs, while red‐emitting GQDs/GO (R‐GQDs/GO) are prepared by incubating GO with a mixture of thiourea and H2O2. From the analysis of these four GQD‐based nanomaterials by transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and fluorescence lifetime spectroscopy, it is found that this tunable fluorescence wavelength results from the differences in particle size. All four GQD‐based nanomaterials exhibit moderate quantum yields (1–10%), nanosecond fluorescence lifetimes, and excitation‐independent emissions. Except for R‐GQDs/GO, the other three GQD‐based nanomaterials are stable in a high‐concentration salt solution (e.g., 1.6 m NaCl) and under high‐power irradiation, enabling the sensitive (high‐temperature resolution and large activation energy) and reversible detection of temperature change. Poly [N‐isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm)–chitosan] crosslinked copolymer particles were synthesized by soapless emulsion copolymerization of NIPAAm and chitosan. An anionic initiator [ammonium persulfate (APS)] and a cationic initiator [2,2′‐azobis(2‐methylpropionamidine)dihydrochloride (AIBA)] were used to initiate the reaction of copolymerization. The chitosan–NIPAAm copolymer synthesized by using APS as the initiator showed a homogeneous morphology and exhibited the characteristic of a lower critical solution temperature (LCST). The copolymer synthesized by using AIBA as an initiator showed a core–shell morphology, and the characteristic of LCST was insignificant. The LCST of the chitosan–NIPAAm copolymer depended on the morphology of the copolymer particles. In addition, the chitosan–NIPAAm copolymer particles were processed to form copolymer disks. Then, the effect of various variables such as the chitosan/NIPAAm weight ratio, the concentration of crosslinking agent, and the pH values on the swelling ratio of chitosan–NIPAAm copolymer disks were investigated. Furthermore, caffeine was used as the model drug to study the characteristics of drug loading of the chitosan–NIPAAm copolymer disks. Variables such as the chitosan/NIPAAm weight ratio and the concentration of the crosslinking agent significantly influenced the behavior of caffeine loading. A single chiral structure is shown to underly several three-dimensional field equations of physics, e.g., the ferromagnet, the stationary axi-symmetric gravitational problem, and the vacuum SU(2) gauge field in the Coulomb gauge. This connection invites cross-fertilization of exact solutions. As illustrations, exact finite energy solutions are obtained for the ferromagnet via the corresponding Weyl, Kerr, and Tominatsu-Sato solutions of Einstein's gravitational equations. The effects of power ultrasound on four metal-nonmetal powdered systems: copper-sulphur iron-sulphur, zinc-sulphur and magnesium-sulphur in various solvents, such as hexane and carbon disulphide, are briefly examined here. For each system, a sonication time of 30 min was affected. The sonicated products are analysed by X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence and atomic absorption spectrophotometry to determine their qualitative and quantitative compositions and the percentage yields of the products obtained are then compared and discussed. 相似文献
